This Vampire lust
51
I look below and to my joy
They walk along the passage way
And even though I look amongst
They cannot see me, how I pray.
I pray for them and then for me
That I can home in for the kill
Although they die upon this eve
A less than painless death does thrill.
That really is my main concern
My thought is food rather than health
If I can relish my main course
Then this to me means more than wealth.
Simplicity almost a joke
We pass among with perfect ease
Nothing strange to worry folk
Living forever is no disease.
You may feel a strange release
A relinquishment to suns pure ray
A thirst that first you never had
A tendency to sleep all day.
The moon may cause an almost lust
You see in such fragmented view
Your mind precedes this loss of life
And unto others you shall do.
Senses perform most excellent
As Bill and Ted would truly rave
Adventure’s start is imminent
Once we arise beyond the grave.
Your favourite colour now blood red
The taste is something to behold
Consider like the finest wine
But never drink this when its cold.
And to their end they walk the line
This favor that is so rebust
To those whom once walked in the light
Will now share in this Vampire Lust.

Great writing. I like your hubs. One of my favorite movies was Blue Velvet. Scarface was neat. Love those action movies. God Bless You. I am on my way on the yellow brick road to join your fan club. Thanks for joining mine.
